Unhealthy Warning Signs

Here are some simple things you can look for to determine if you spine is healthy.

  • Do the heels of your shoes wear unevenly? This can be due to uneven leg length or stress along the length of the spine.
  • Do you find it difficult to breath properly? Breath, your general health, spinal health and energy are interrelated.
  • Do you have to crack your neck, back or other joints frequently? This can be caused by a portion of your spine that is locked or jammed.
  • Does your jaw click? This can be caused by neck or hip subluxations.
  • Does your foot flare out when walking? Do you feet both point forward, or does one foot appear to flare outward or inward? Foot flair may be a sign of a problem in the lower spine or hips. It can also be related to meningeal stress in the upper neck or base of the brain.
  • Can you twist your head or hips to either side easily and equally? If not this reduced range of motion is a further indicator of spinal misalignments.
  • Do you feel a stiffness in your back and neck? This stiffness can be a sign of subluxation damage.
  • What is your posture like? You may evaluate your posture by standing on two bathroom scales. When placing your right and left foot respectively on the scales is the weight distribution about the same over each foot. If not, that's a good indication that your spine, hips or head are misaligned.
  • Do you have headaches, back aches, shooting pains or tender spots in muscles and joints? These are common signs of vertebrae subluxations.
  • Does one leg appear to be shorter than the other? With your shoes on and lying down, have someone stand behind you, look down at your feet, and gently push you heels toward your head. Compare where the heels meet the shoes. If uneven, not the difference since this is another common sign of subluxation.
  • Do you experience constant and stressful feeling and tension in muscles and joints? If so muscles can be directly affected by subluxations.
  • Do you feel fatigued? An unbalanced spine drains your energy and impacts your vitality.
  • Are you able to concentrate properly? Subluxations can directly impact brain function and health.
  • Do you have a low resistance to disease? Subluxations affect your neuroendocrine system which plays an essential role in your ability to fight infection and resist disease.
  • Are you frequently ill and in poor general health? Subluxations can impact your overall health and fitness.
